Our Story

Hi! I’m Donna, mum to two beautiful girls Emma and Sophie and wife to my best friend Joe. I started my candle making journey 10 years ago as a much-needed creative outlet. I needed something for me, something that took me away from the daily grind and that I loved doing. I’ve always loved candles and the feeling of calm and relaxation they give after a long day at work or at home with the kids. One of my favorite things is lighting a candle after cleaning the house or just as we've put the kids to bed. There is something really special about lighting a candle or spraying my favorite scent into a room that instantly lifts my mood. 

After discovering my first candle making kit, making my own candles and using them in my home I was so impressed with the quality and longevity of what I had created. What began as a small hobby and creative outlet and after lots of testing and experimenting I hosted my first candle party in my home with family and friends. That was the beginning of Love Light Soy Candles and through word of mouth my small business has grown over the years. 

All of my products are hand made to order, in small batches ensuring you receive a quality product each and every time. Our products are made using the highest quality eco-friendly soy wax, premium fragrance oils and supplies on the market. It is our mission to provide you with a quality product that not only looks great but is affordable and does what it is intended to do from first use to last use.

Over the past 10 years I have learnt SO much about candle making and am driven by my customer’s positive feedback and love of my products. I have been filling homes with my lush products for many years now and I’m so excited to take this next step and finally launch my first website.
